Todd Smith brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and 18 years in corporate America. A University of South Carolina alum and former member of the South Carolina National Guard, he now leads the insurance division at Capital Financial Partners. Todd oversees both the Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty departments, helping businesses and individuals find comprehensive insurance solutions. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their 11 grandchildren and are active members of Crosspoint Church in Newberry. His hobbies include golfing, entertaining, cheering on the Gamecocks, and working on his classic British cars.

A proud South Carolina native and University of South Carolina graduate, Ben brings decades of industry experience, having launched his career in 1999. He and his wife, Cassie, have been married since 2001 and have raised their two daughters in Lexington, SC. Outside of work, Ben is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time on the golf course, out on the lake, or anywhere he can be in nature.

With over 20 years in the insurance industry, Deirdre Bonsecour Brown has done it all, from licensed adjuster to launching the insurance division of a major RV conglomerate. She brings a personal perspective to her work, having entered the field as a single mother of five determined to find affordable solutions. Deirdre is passionate about helping clients navigate insurance with a sense of humor and heart. Outside the office, she loves exploring South Carolina history with her grandchildren, especially through metal detecting adventures and Civil War stories.

Originally from southern Georgia, Kim has called South Carolina home since the late ’90s. With 13 years as a Financial Assistant and a decade as a paralegal for a bankruptcy trustee, she brings deep experience and attention to detail to the Capital Financial Advisors team. She and her husband of nearly 27 years have three children and one beautiful granddaughter. In her spare time, Kim enjoys knitting, cross-stitching, and reading.

Carley Frick joined Capital Financial Partners in January and quickly became known as the team’s go-to tech whiz. A licensed producer and Prosperity native, Carley is a proud Gamecocks fan. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and daughter, Zoe, as well as her five siblings and 11 nieces and nephews. Outside of work, she loves cooking and beach trips.

John Gilreath is a licensed insurance producer with a focus on property, casualty, and marine insurance, including classic and collector car policies. A South Carolina native and former five-year starter for the Gamecock baseball team, John is passionate about protecting what matters most with integrity and personal service. When he’s not working with clients, you’ll find him golfing, fishing, or spending time with friends and family.
